Marketing Is Not Only Our Specialty, it's Our Passion

According to marketing guru Philip Kotler, marketing is the process by which companies determine what products or services may be of interest to customers, and the strategy to use in sales, communications and business development. It is an integrated process through which companies create value for customers and build stronger customer relationships in order to capture more value from their customers. Marketing is used to identify the customer, to keep the customer and to satisfy the customer.
At Responsible Marketing, we view marketing as an integral component to business success. As a responsible marketing consulting firm, our primary goal is to help businesses achieve better results from their marketing efforts. To do this, we employ a holistic approach to marketing: This entails understanding your business (including your vision, mission and strategy), your customers, your products, your pricing, your distribution and your historic marketing activities. Once we have the full picture, we are better positioned to assist in developing a plan, outlining tactics, projecting realistic outcomes, executing the plan (or assisting your team with the execution), measuring results and making adjustments as necessary to achieve the targeted results.
Responsible Marketing is a data-driven marketing consultancy. Research yields data, data is analyzed, benchmarks are developed, and from those benchmarks we can track progress for your ongoing marketing efforts to improve their successful outcomes. We believe that if you don't/can't track performance/results, you can't improve them. And while it would be nice to regularly see 10%-15% gains from a single tactic/campaign, we focus more on achievable goals that will allow small improvements across a wide spectrum of activities (1% here, 2-3% there, etc.) to holistically realize high single digit improvements overall. Remember, any promise that sounds too good to be true generally is.
Analyzing, tracking, modifying and adjusting over a long-term timeframe will usually produce greater returns than any single ad-hoc campaign or tactic. That is why we typically tend to work with businesses that have more long-term objectives, who are committed to developing a marketing plan/calendar and have committed budgetary resources to invest in the long term success of their business. However, we also know that not every business is able or ready to make a long-term commitment to their marketing efforts. In these cases, we will assist with project-based work where our experience and expertise will augment a company's internal capabilities and increase the chances of meeting business objectives.
